Terms and Conditions
Fix-It Right Handyman Services LLC
1. Scope of Work
Fix-It Right Handyman Services LLC (“Contractor”) will perform only the services specifically listed in the written estimate, work order, or invoice. Any additional work requested by the customer (“Client”) will require a separate estimate and may affect pricing and completion time.
2. Licensing & Limitations
The Contractor performs services allowed under California law for a handyman and does not perform work requiring a licensed contractor unless otherwise stated.
The Contractor does not perform:
Electrical work inside walls requiring a licensed electrician
Plumbing work requiring a license
HVAC system installation or major repairs
Structural work or modifications requiring permits
Client is responsible for confirming that the requested work does not require permits or licensed contractor services unless specified.
3. Estimates & Pricing
All estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection.
Hidden conditions may alter the final price.
Client will be notified before additional charges are incurred.
Hourly work is billed in 1-hour minimum increments.
4. Materials
Materials may be supplied by the Contractor or the Client.
If the Contractor supplies materials, the cost will be added to the final invoice.
If the Client supplies materials and they fail, are incorrect, or cause delays, additional labor charges may apply.
5. Scheduling & Arrival Windows
Service appointments are scheduled with an arrival window. Weather, traffic, and other job conditions may impact timing. The Contractor will notify Client of any delays.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods: cash, check, credit/debit, or other agreed methods.
Invoices unpaid after 7 calendar days may incur late fees.
Returned checks or declined payments may incur additional fees.

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a cancellation fee.
Jobs canceled after work has already begun are billed for time and materials used up to that point.
8. Warranty / Guarantee
Contractor provides a 30-day workmanship warranty on labor only unless otherwise stated.
Warranty does NOT cover:
Client-supplied materials
Normal wear and tear
Misuse, abuse, or damage caused by others
Pre-existing conditions
Manufacturer warranties apply for materials purchased through Contractor.
9. Liability
Contractor is insured, but not responsible for:
Pre-existing damage or faulty conditions
Systems, appliances, or materials that fail due to age or prior improper installation
Damage caused by accessing hidden areas (e.g., cutting drywall to access a shutoff valve) when such access is necessary to perform the job
Client agrees that Contractor’s liability for damages is limited to the amount paid for the services rendered.
10. Access to Property
Client must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area.
Contractor is not responsible for moving heavy items, fragile personal property, or clearing clutter unless agreed upon beforehand.
11. Hazardous Conditions
Contractor may refuse work if unsafe conditions exist (e.g., mold, asbestos, insects, animals, dangerous wiring). Additional charges may apply if hazardous conditions are discovered after work begins.
12. Photos & Documentation
Contractor may take before-and-after photos for documentation, insurance, and portfolio purposes. Photos will not include identifiable personal information unless the Client provides written consent.
13. Disputes
Any dispute regarding workmanship or billing must be submitted in writing within 7 days of service completion. Contractor will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues promptly.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California.
15. Acceptance of Terms
By hiring Fix-It Right Handyman Services LLC, scheduling service, or accepting an estimate, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
